This is Sunny's first time being asked up on a platform. He's not sure at first whether he's to go around, over (jump), or step up. Use of the handler's body (and "chi") helps him make a correct decision to step up.
His first step doesn't leave room for his second foot up there, so he steps down, but leaves the first foot up. He's not nervous or anxious about it, and gets a treat for trying.
He's more than willing to try again, and comes right up. This horse is calm and willing and a delight to work with.
His owner is able to get him up on the platform with no trouble. I don't know why the horses like this so much, but they get up there and look around like they are king of the hill!
